Sweet Jamaica Finds Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Sweet Jamaica Finds to fulfill your Jamaican gifting and grocery needs from overseas. We always do our upmost to ensure your experience with us is memorable for all the right reasons. So please do hesitate to contact us if you find something wrong with your purchase and we'll be happy to assist you.

Our Returns Policy lasts for 30 days, from the day of your order. If 30 days have passed since you made your order, and you have not reached out to us, we are not obliged to accept any claim for return.


To be eligible for a return, please note:

We require proof of purchase of any items you wish to return from our e-commerce website, trading as Sweet Jamaica Finds, found at the web address 

In order to be eligible for refunds/replacements or refunds, please ensure your item is unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.

Please Note - Some types of goods are exempt from being returned, such as:

  • Perishable items; including food, flowers, newspapers, and magazines
  • We do not accept returns of products that are intimate or sanitary goods, health, beauty, personal care items, and jewelry
  • Personalized items, custom items, special orders
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Sale items 

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Exchange Policy
We only replace items if they are found to be defective or damaged on receipt of the package. If you wish to exchange any item, like for like, send us an email to and, once we have verified the items for an exchange, please send your item to address listed below.

Refunds Policy 
Should you have an issue with your order, or wish to make a claim for a refund, please initially reach out to us by email, using our contact form, or directly at with details of your problem. 

If you have photographic evidence of the issue/damage, please add this to your email as this will enable us to resolve your issue in a more timely fashion.

We may be able to assist you without requiring you to return the item to us.

 Once we have authorized your items for return, safely package the items and return your verified product to one of the return addresses listed below.

Once your return has been received and inspected by our team, we will send you an email to notify you whether the return has been approved or rejected, and the outcome of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, check the account that you made the payment from once more. Whether that be your bank account/credit card/PayPal/alternate payment method again, as it may take some time before your refund is officially processed by your bank.

Gifts, Custom and Personalized Items
We do not accept returns of personalized or custom items, unless there has been an error made on our behalf. Please double check custom details and spellings of any text you wish to be added to your items, prior to ordering. We will prepare your order exactly as you have requested and are not responsible for mis-spelled personalizations. 

If you received an item that was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


Return Shipping

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer! They will be unable to assist you.

The sender is responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning any item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If we submit a refund to you, the cost of return shipping of any replacement will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an item valued at over US$50.00, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Under no circumstances can we guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
