Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing Sweet Jamaica Finds to fulfill your Jamaican gifting and grocery needs from overseas. We always do our utmost to ensure your experience with us is memorable for all the right reasons. Do not hesitate to contact us if you find something wrong with your order and we'll be happy to assist you.
Once we receive your order, we endeavor to pick, pack, and ship your order with fresh products within 3 business days. In special circumstances, such as when products are out of stock with the manufacturers it may take up to 5 business days to prepare your order, to ensure we can ship products with the longest best-before dates.
Personalized, Custom, Wholesale, and Special Order customers will be notified of the shipment date as part of the invoicing process.
Shipping Carrier
We use Jamaica Post to fulfill all of our economy orders to international addresses listed on our website. Please note, that we have no control over the destinations that Jamaica Post is able to fulfill packages, and they have been subject to change at short notice dependent on the current climate.
Please note: Jamaica Post is our shipping carrier whilst the packages are within Jamaica. Once the packages leave Jamaica, they are fullfilled by the local postal service of the country of destination. For example, USPS - for USA, Canada Post - for Canada, ParcelForce for UK. When checking your tracking number, please be sure to check both the Jamaica Post, and relevant local postal service website for up-to-date tracking information.
International Delivery Times:
Caribbean: 7 to 21 days, dependent on location.
USA and North America: 7 to 21 days, dependent on location.
Alaska: 14 to 30 days, dependent on location.
Canada: 14 to 21 days, dependent on location.
UK: 10 to 21 days, dependent on location.
Europe: 14 to 30 days, dependent on location.
Australia: 14 to 30 days, dependent on location.
Expedited Shipping
As a secondary option, we offer expedited shipping with international shipping carriers, such as, DHL, Tara, FedEx. Please contact us for more information, a quotation, or shipping times.
Customs and Border Control
Whilst we endeavour to inform our customers about our products, we cannot provide up to date information on customs and importation policies for every country of the world.
Please note it is your responsibility to ensure the products you are ordering are allowable for entry into your country. We cannot be held responsible for any goods that are refused entry, destroyed, returned, seized, or otherwise not received by the buyer, due to the act of your countries customs/border policies, whereby the products are otherwise in perfect condition.
Please note: In these instances we will be unable to give refunds for goods shipped in good faith, that have been denied entry by customs/border control.
Additional Fees on Entry
Furthermore, please note once we have shipped your items we cannot control any customs/importation fees that are levied on the goods you have ordered on entry into your country. Any additional cost for the importation of items is the sole responsibility of the buyer and will usually need to be paid before the goods are released.
